PLACE Panel and Networking – How have other students have found part time and full time work?
Come hear from past and current international students, who have secured part-time or full-time jobs in Melbourne. Listen to their personal experience in job hunting and going to interviews and pick up some tips and tricks to make the process easier. Come prepared with questions to ask the panel! A postgraduate student will also be on the panel to discuss scholarships and job prospects in various industries, so be sure not to miss out! Register online.

Host Scheme Pub Crawl – theme “Ugly Jumper”
Join your favourite volunteer group and go for a pub crawl in Swan Street Richmond. The theme for the night is ‘Ugly Jumper’ and there will be a prize for the best costume. This event is FREE and only for 18 +. All you have to do is show up! Check out the MSA website for more information.

Host Scheme Mid Year Camp
If you missed out on the campus at the start of the year, you have a second chance to experience all the awesomeness of a university camp! There are heaps of activities planned including box wars, taekwando workshops and a fire show by the circus club MCJAF. On saturday night, there is a Animal Planet party, so bring your costume! Food, accommodation, transport to and from the campsite are included.

MUST: Cabaret Festival
Enjoy a night of various performances – including dance, drag, burlesque, music, comedy, puppetry and more. This festival will provide an inclusive opportunity for performers to showcase their talents.
