Lord Mayor’s Student Welcome 2018
Join the City of Melbourne’s official welcome to all new students studying in Melbourne. Enjoy live music, performances, games, information stalls, competitions, a BBQ and many more! Bring your friends or make new ones at this event.

Wednesday Sessions
Monash Student Association and Campus Community Division are bring you an exciting new weekly event: Wednesday Sessions. Come down to the Lemon Scented Lawns at lunch time on Wednesdays and enjoy free food and major music acts live on the Sound Shell.

A message from MUISS
Hi everyone! My name is Jason and I am the MUISS president for 2018. MUISS  aims to be a social yet professional body that mentors and represents all international students by providing a wide range of services and activities. This year, our events are designed to give you the best experience at Monash! Find us at the MUISS lounge (Level 1 of the Campus Centre, 21 Chancellors Walk, next to Radio Monash and opposite Sir John’s Bar) or join us for Free breakfast on Tuesday mornings, 9-11am. One World Festival
Join MUISS for a One World Adventure! This year’s One World Festival features an Amazing Race theme. There will be jumping castles, face painters, fairy floss, dunking of the MSA president and much more! One World Festival is a great way to celebrate our multicultural community with all the cultural clubs. Like our MUISS facebook page to follow our events!

What are the Non Residential Colleges?
The Non-Residential Colleges help to enhance your university experience by providing a sense of community for students who live off campus. There are seven colleges to choose from across Caulfield, Clayton and Peninsula.

As a member, you’ll be able to hangout with a small group of students and have the support of a college advisor. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in events within your colleges and in the extended NRC community. Apply online now or find out more on the website.

Cultural Diversity Week and March Festivals
In March we celebrate Cultural Diversity week (17 -25 March). This is Victoria’s largest multicultural celebration that features an exciting program of festivals and events across Melbourne. This year, the theme is “Proud to belong” Find out more about these cultural events near you or check out some of Melbourne’s other events in March below:

Study Melbourne: Volunteering Information Session – Essential
Study Melbourne Live Volunteers connect international students with opportunities to make friends and develop new skills through volunteering. Learn about the essentials of volunteering in Australia including the value of volunteering and rights and responsibilities of volunteers and organisations and learn how to make the most out of your volunteering experience.
When: Wednesday 28 March, 2pm
Where: 599, Little Bourke Street, Melbourne

Study Melbourne FREE Yoga classes on Fridays
Bring your own mat and towel and join a free yoga class on Fridays until 6 April. Learn how to relax, manage stress and feel more energetic as you meet other international students studying in Melbourne. This class is suitable for beginners and those with yoga experience.
When: Fridays from 2 March – 6 April, 9.45am
