Library Learning Skills Seminars<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills Sessions: Weeks 5 and 6: Case law.<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This seminar is a combined learning skills and research session, focusing on how to search for a case online and\u00a0how to prepare a case note.<\/p>\n<p>Sessions will be held in\u00a0the Law Library&#8217;s level 1 computer lab on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday 28 March 12 -1pm<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday 29 March 1 &#8211; 2 pm<\/li>\n<li>Thursday 31 March 1 &#8211; 2 pm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On Monday 28 March there will be another session\u00a0in L5, and you&#8217;ll need to bring or share a wireless-enabled laptop.<\/p>\n<p>There will be two sessions the following week on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuesday 5 April 1 &#8211; 2 in L2<\/li>\n<li>Thursday 7 April in L5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Please bring or share a wireless-enabled laptop for these lecture room sessions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills Sessions: Week 6. Assignments &#8211; Where the marks come from<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Understanding the difference between an adequate answer and an evaluative one.\u00a0 what styles to use, and what structures work best for different assignments.\u00a0 Covers reports, problem-solving and general assignments.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday 4 April 12 &#8211; 1pm in the Law Library Meeting Room on level 3<\/li>\n<li>Repeated in L5 on Monday 4 April 1 &#8211; 2 pm in L5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
