The CLMM 2011 meeting will be held in Sydney from Monday 11 \u2013 Thursday 14 July, 2011 and will be attended by over 50 Commonwealth countries.\u00a0 The essay competition winner will be flown to Sydney to attend the CLMM opening ceremony and will have the opportunity to meet with the Attorney-General and the international Commonwealth delegates. Shine Lawyers Torts Moot Competition<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The QUT Law School, in conjunction with leading law firm Shine Lawyers, is running a Torts Moot Competition in the Law School\u2019s Electronic Moot Court and Industrial Court from 8<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 12<sup>th<\/sup> August 2011.<\/p>\n<p>You are invited to send a team from your law school to take part in this moot. We look forward to seeing a team from your Law School at QUT in August<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>6. <\/strong><strong>Semester 1 SETU<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The Semester 1 SETU (Student Evaluation of Teaching and Units)\u00a0online surveys\u00a0 are now open\u00a0and you can access these surveys by going to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/my.monash.edu.au\/study\/resources\/evaluations\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/my.monash.edu.au\/study\/resources\/evaluations\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We would really appreciate it if you could please complete a SETU survey for each Unit in which you are enrolled as we would like to hear your feedback.\u00a0 The\u00a0Office of Planning and Quality will send you reminder emails to complete a SETU survey for each Unit in which you are currently enrolled until you do actually complete all of \u00a0the surveys.<\/p>\n<p>The SETU online survey contain 2 sections for you\u00a0to complete before the survey shuts down \u00a0 &#8211; one section is all about the Unit\u00a0 and the other about the teachers in that Unit.\u00a0\u00a0We do use the feedback that you give us to help\u00a0identify those Units\u00a0where<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Teaching and Learning is of a particularly high quality &#8211; \u00a0so that we can learn from the practises in those Units<\/li>\n<li>Improvements are needed &#8211; so that we can make sure improvements are implemented before the Unit is offered again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>7. <\/strong><strong>Transnational Law Program Summer 2011 Conference<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Law students are invited to the Transnational Law Program Summer 2011 Conference, Utrecht, The Netherlands.
