Animal Law \u2013 Offered for a Second Time<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Due to demand, animal Law is being offered a second time as an undergraduate subject at Melbourne University in Semester 2, 2011. Enrolment is open to undergraduates and cross-institutional enrolment is also available. The second offering of this subject mimics the popularity of animal law studies at international universities including Harvard, Columbia and McGill Universities.<\/p>\n<p>Cross institutional enrolment is available.<\/p>\n<p>Guest speakers will include world renowned ethicist Professor Peter Singer of Princeton University, who will deliver the second lecture.<\/p>\n<p>The subject will critically examine several areas including the state of Animal Law in Australia, the rights of advocates and protesters and the future of animal welfare law reform.
