Trish Hughes, the Learning Skills Adviser, is conducting some additional\u00a0seminars\u00a0at the City\u00a0Chambers during Semester 2.\u00a0\u00a0One stream\u00a0 called ‘Beginning legal writing’<\/strong> is intended for\u00a0 first year JD students and the other called ‘Advanced writing seminars’ <\/strong>is intended for LLM and later-year JD students.<\/p>\n

5. Law Chambers Research Sessions on September 2 : Westlaw and Lexis Basics<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Westlaw and Lexis are two of the world\u2019s largest legal databases.\u00a0\u00a0They contain hundreds of full text journals and primary sources from the UK, US, Canada and other jurisdictions. Sandra Pyke from the Law Library will be conducting sessions at the Law Chambers to help you get the best from these databases.<\/p>\n

The sessions are aimed at later year JD students and LLM.<\/p>\n
