Research Practicum \u2013 New Unit<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Faculty of Law has established a new Unit to commence in 1st Semester 2012 \u2013 an externship for Monash Law students to undertake research work on placement at public sector agencies. Eligibility is for later year students with 48 credit points remaining to complete with strong academic results.<\/p>\n<p>Students will undertake a formal 18 day placement at one of ten agencies<br \/>\nVictoria Legal Aid (VLA)<br \/>\nJudicial College of Victoria (JCV)<br \/>\nRegistrar of Births Deaths and Marriages<br \/>\nPublic Interest Law Clearing House (PILCH)<br \/>\nOffice of the Victorian Auditor General (VAGO)<br \/>\nCollingwood Neighbourhood Justice Centre (DOJ)<br \/>\nThe Red Cross<br \/>\nThe State Trustees<br \/>\nVictorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA)<br \/>\nOffice of Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability<br \/>\nAssessment includes a research project under the guidence of a field supervisor, with assistance from an expert member of Monash staff.
