Law Reform Community Development Unit<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Law Reform and Community Development (LRCD) LAW5217<\/strong> is a clinical unit located in the Faculty of Law that provides students with the opportunity to understand and experience firsthand how the law impacts on members of the community, particularly those who are marginalised and experiencing social disadvantage.<\/p>\n<p>The unit is suitable for students who are currently undertaking studies in the Law Faculty and who are interested in gaining an understanding of how the justice system may impact people who are experiencing social disadvantage through working with existing community organisations\/groups that are seeking to bring about social change by way of Law Reform and Community Development activities.<\/p>\n<p>This unit is also available to students enrolled in any Monash University Faculty and is particularly suitable for students who are interested in transferring to law related studies.<\/p>\n<p>Please see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.monash.edu\/lawstudentbulletin\/files\/2012\/02\/LRCD-advertisement-for-student-gazette-Feb-2012.pdf\">LRCD Info Sheet<\/a> for more information and how to apply for this unit.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">.: End of Student Gazette 6.2.2012:.<\/span><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1. 2012 Law Malaysia Program 2012 Law Malaysia Program-Applications now open!
