Graduate Women Victoria Scholarships<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Graduate Women Victoria is the new name for the Australian Federation  of Universities Women Victoria, and are again offering annual  scholarship assistance for women enrolled in universities in Victoria.  The scholarships and bursaries range from $2000 to $5000, and are  offered to women enrolled in 2012, in the following undergraduate  courses at Victorian universities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fourth year honours in an undergraduate degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Indigenous female students enrolled in an undergraduate degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants are asked to demonstrate that they are or have been  experiencing disadvantage in the pursuit of their studies. Full details  of all these scholarships, including application forms and referee  guidelines, may be found on the Graduate Women Victoria <a href=\"http:\/\/www.afuwvic.org.au\/\">website<\/a>, and further information here <a href=\"..\/files\/2012\/01\/Graduate-Women-Victoria.pdf\">Graduate Women Victoria<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>2. 2012 Law Malaysia Program<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>2012 Law Malaysia Program-Applications now open!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monash Sunway campus in Malaysia, located near Kuala Lumpur<\/li>\n<li>25 June \u2013 24 August<\/li>\n<li>Full semester of law studies<\/li>\n<li>Taught by academic staff from Monash and overseas universities<\/li>\n<li>Applications are now open and close on Friday 9 March 2012<\/li>\n<li>Small classes, with students from partner universities, including Hong Kong, Malaysia and Paris<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Monash Abroad travel grants will be available. Global Changers Program<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><em>What is Global Changers?<\/em><br \/>\nGlobal Changers is an advanced leadership course, focused development theory and aid policy. Global Changers are interested in honest motivation, burning desire, experience, high-level thinking, debate, conversation and ambition.<\/p>\n<p>The Global Changers course runs for ten weeks. Each and every week, we promise to challenge you \u2013 we\u2019ll push you to consider heavy ideas and tough issues. If you want to change the world, we\u2019ll ask you first to explore your motivations. This is a chance for self-learning, empowerment and action. We run with a tutorial structure, and it\u2019s fast paced. The curriculum is intense, challenging and motivational. It includes guest speakers, and a project component, so you need to be an ideas person.<\/p>\n<p><em>Should I apply?<\/em><br \/>\nOnly if you have a committed desire for social change, and see yourself as an influential thinker. If you\u2019re looking for free food, or a free ride, this isn\u2019t for you. If you\u2019re tired of excuses, and want legitimate intelligent action, start <a href=\"http:\/\/theoaktree.org\/globalchangers\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>How do I know that this will make a difference?<\/em><br \/>\nYou don\u2019t. But you believe in the world\u2019s capacity for change. And you believe in your own capacity to contribute to that change. Like us, you might feel overwhelmed by the size of the problem, particularly when you know that the solutions are not straightforward. But we\u2019re inherently impact driven, and we have seen results.<\/p>\n<p><em>Are you driven? Do you want to see results?<\/em><br \/>\nOver the past 20 years, extreme poverty has been halved. To see it ended, you need to find out what you can really do. Global Changers is just one of those things. We actually want you to do the other things too. But right now, this is in front of you. Deakin University Chinese Commercial Law Study Tour 2012<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Why not combine an international travel experience with your studies  by undertaking the Chinese Commercial Law Study Tour? The tour has been  running for 16 years and to-date over 425 students have taken part in  this amazing experience. This year, the Study Tour heads to the amazing and vibrant city of  Shanghai. This energetic city reveals why China is the economic  powerhouse that it is. This unit is available to non-Deakin students.
