Legal Traineeships 2013<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The Office of Public Prosecutions (OPP) Legal Traineeship Program offers law graduates a unique  opportunity to experience diverse and challenging work that will provide the basis for a rewarding  legal career. Paralegal Position<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">A Melbourne barrister is seeking a law student, in his or her third year or above, to work as researcher and administrative support for two days per week, starting as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Tasks will include legal research, particularly on labour law, discrimination and employment contract law. Administrative functions will also be required, including assisting the barrister in running his business. IT skills and advanced research skills are necessary. The tasks are likely to be a mix of the incredibly interesting and the mundane. The position would suit a progressive student able to work independently and with initiative.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The position is for two days per week, which can be spread over three days. Hours are flexible to suit lecture timetables and any family responsibilities. Additional time off is available during exam periods.
