Students may re-enrol via WES for the 2013 academic year during the re-enrolment period. If you have not re-enrolled by 19 November 2012 you may do so between the 20 November to 14 December 2012 but a $289 late fee will be applied. Please see the <a href=\"http:\/\/law.monash.edu.au\/current-students\/enrolments\/re-enrolment-ug-pg.html\">Re-enrolment webpage <\/a>for further information.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">2. Charlie Perkins Scholarship<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The Charlie Perkins Scholarships are now accepting applications for 2013.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Each year the Charlie Perkins Scholarship Trust offers two Scholarships for Indigenous postgraduates to study either Oxford or Cambridge universities for up to three years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">To be considered for the Scholarship, applicants must have applied for a course at Oxford and\/or Cambridge. Applicants must also submit:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>a cover letter<\/li>\n<li>a curriculum vitae<\/li>\n<li>an official transcript of university results<\/li>\n<li>confirmation of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent<\/li>\n<li>details for two academic referees (email and telephone numbers)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Before contacting the Trust, please visit the <a href=\"www.perkinstrust.com.au \">Perkins Trust website<\/a> for more detail about the required documents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Please note that applications will close on Friday 2 November 2012. The Charlie Perkins Scholarships will only be awarded to students who are accepted to study at either Oxford or Cambridge. FAQ for JD Students Taking Elective Units<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The Faculty of Law (Postgraduate) has launched the <a href=\"http:\/\/law.monash.edu.au\/current-students\/course-unit-information\/faq-pg-jd.html\">FAQs for JD students taking elective units webpage<\/a>. The FAQs provide useful information to assist you in preparing for your electives. We encourage all Postgraduate students to visit the FAQs to gain a better understanding of what to expect in your elective units.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">4. Migration to Moodle<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The Faculty of Law (Postgraduate) has moved to Moodle for units commencing in Term 3 2012. Please note that Blackboard will not be used for these units and functionalities previously used in Blackboard will be used via Moodle. Moodle can be accessed through your my.monash portal (click on Moodle2 in the left hand side panel) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vle.monash.edu\/supporttraining\/learnbytech\/moodle\/students\/index.html\">support and training can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left\"><span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">6. Semester 2 SETU Surveys<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Can you please complete the Semester 2 SETU survey for your Unit? You can access this survey for your S2 Units via your my.monash portal. Please note that the SETU surveys close off on the following dates:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>12 Sept \u2013 some LLM and most UG units<\/li>\n<li>7 Sept \u2013 Winter Units \u2013 LAW4160<\/li>\n<li>Full Year Units \u2013 the SETU surveys will open on 21 Sept and close on 26 Oct<\/li>\n<li>T3-58 Units \u2013 the SETU surveys will open on 1 Oct and close on 15 Oct<\/li>\n<li>T4-57 Units \u2013 the SETU surveys will open on 25 Oct and close on 1 Nov.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">If you don\u2019t know which Teaching period your Unit is in then you can check up on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.law.monash.edu.au\/current-students\/course-unit-information\/timetables\/postgraduate\/index.html\">relevant timetable<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">We really appreciate you completing these online SETU surveys each Semester as your ratings and feedback help our teachers to continually improve the quality of our Units.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1. 2013 Re-enrolment Re-enrolment for 2013 commences on 8 October and ends on 19 November 2012.
