Emer Casey, an Irish girl, died at the age of 28 after a very short battle with ovarian cancer and Emer Casey Foundation was established in her honour.

Ovarian cancer does not have an early diagnostic test, and as a result, most of women are diagnosed at the advanced stages of it. More importantly, one of the main risk factors is being a female in an industrialized country, with a higher standard of living (see http://www.ocrf.com.au/about-ovarian-cancer/symptoms/ ). This means that yourself (if you are a female), along with other loved ones around you and the Australian female population are at risk.

So, please, if you can, donate via the fundraising page Together We Stand and support her first fundraising effort.

5.
