Call for Volunteers\u00a0&#8211; Courts User Satisfaction Survey<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Family Court and Federal Circuit Court are inviting law students at any year level to volunteer as interviewers in the Courts User Satisfaction Survey to be conducted in <strong>August 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The closing date for registrations is\u00a0<strong>Thursday 15 July.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For further information please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.monash.edu\/lawstudentbulletin\/files\/2014\/07\/MelbDandVolunteer.pdf\">flyer<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">3. Family Law Assistance Program Volunteering<\/span><\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Family Law Assistance Program at Monash-Oakleigh Legal Service is now accepting applications from students to be on the waiting list.<\/p>\n<p>Interested students should enquire and apply with the volunteer coordinator starting from <strong>Tuesday 1 July, 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>FLAP recruits volunteers several times a year, at no set times on a needs basis. Students will be contacted when opportunities arise and will remain on the waiting list until\u00a0<strong>Tuesday 31 December, 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Students will need to re-apply to be on the waiting list in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The volunteer coordinator can be contacted at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:mols-volunteer@monash.edu\"><strong>mols-volunteer@monash.edu<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">4. S1 SETU Surveys: Prato Units<\/span><\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Please note that \u00a0for the UG and PG Prato Units in Teaching period T2-57 the \u00a0SETU survey opens on\u00a0<strong>Tuesday 27 June<\/strong> and closes on\u00a0<strong>Sunday 18 July<\/strong>. \u00a0 We would really appreciate it if you could please complete a SETU survey for each Prato Unit in which you are enrolled as we do value your feedback about our Units and do use this feedback to help fine tune and improve our Prato Units.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">5. Volunteering at Monash-Oakleigh Legal Service<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Are you a first to third year Law student or JD student in your first six trimesters of your degree and looking for the opportunity to gain some invaluable practical legal experience?<\/p>\n<p>Applications for the Wednesday Night Advice Only Session at Monash Oakleigh Legal Service will open<strong> 8am Monday 21 July, 2014<\/strong> and close <strong>5pm Monday 28 July, 2014<\/strong>. Please note that late applications will not be accepted.<\/p>\n<p>You are applying to be part of the Wednesday night volunteer team, which provides advice to clients experiencing a wide range of legal problems.<\/p>\n<p>Students are rostered to volunteer on Wednesday nights on a fortnightly basis from <strong>6:00pm<\/strong> until approximately <strong>8:30pm<\/strong>.
