At the time of his appointment he was Solicitor-General of Australia. He is a graduate of the Australian National University and has post-graduate qualifications from Harvard University. He was admitted as a barrister of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1989 and was appointed Senior Counsel in 2000. Then you should participate in MUNash: Monash University Model United Nations Conference.<\/p>\n<p>MUNash will run from <strong>Monday 29 September<\/strong> until <strong>Wednesday 1 October<\/strong> (during the mid-semester break) at the Caulfield campus, and is organised by the Monash International Affairs Society and Orion College.<\/p>\n<p>A Model United Nations is a simulation of the UN General Assembly and other multilateral bodies. In a Model UN, students step into the shoes of ambassadors from UN member states to debate current issues on the organisation\u2019s agenda.
