1. Peter Greste to Speak at The Annual Castan Centre Conference<\/span><\/h3>\n

Journalist Peter Greste, who spent over a year in an Egyptian prison with Al Jazeera colleagues, is a late addition to the line up for the Castan Centre’s annual conference. <\/span><\/p>\n

All staff are invited to attend at the discount price of <\/span>$100<\/span> (full price is $280). Details are:<\/span><\/p>\n

Date<\/span>: Friday 24 July, 2015<\/span><\/p>\n

Time<\/span>: 9.00am \u2013 5.00pm<\/span><\/p>\n

2. The College of Law Open Night <\/span><\/h3>\n

The College of Law Victoria is holding its annual Information Night on <\/span>Wednesday 15 July 2015 <\/span>from 4:30pm \u2013 7:30pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Information Night is a great way for students to find out about College and speak to Lecturers.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. VADR CPD Event: Robert Wright: Disputes Arising in Not-for-Profit Associations <\/span><\/h3>\n

This is an invitation to attend a VADR CPD presentation where solicitor Robert Wright will speak on the topic: \u2018Disputes Arising in Not-for-Profit Associations\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

Robert Wright is a Victorian solicitor with 40 years’ experience in associations law, who has acted for associations in all Australian jurisdictions.<\/span><\/p>\n

He will be speaking about the types of disputes that can arise in not-for-profit associations, the personalities involved, and how such disputes can best be resolved without damage to the association.<\/span><\/p>\n

Date: <\/span>Thursday, 23 July 2015<\/span><\/p>\n

Time<\/span>: 5.45pm for 6.15pm to 7.15pm (presentation)<\/span><\/p>\n

Venue<\/span>: Coopers Inn (2nd floor), cnr Exhibition & Little Lonsdale Sts, Melbourne<\/span><\/p>\n

Cost<\/span>: Free to VADR members, $20 non-members.<\/span><\/p>\n
