\nJill Raby has just returned from Japan where she was conducting cross national training for mediators in relation to Australian\/Japanese Hague Convention Matters. She will discuss the guidelines for mediation in such matters against the background of the challenges and learnings for mediators who deal with family conflict in an increasingly globalised world.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is no doubt that the ABC has a special place in our hearts as our national broadcaster. But in today’s day and age, does the raison d’etre for the ABC still exist? Or has it become an unnecessary drain on the taxpayer dollar, one which the government and the Australian public should consider letting go? <\/span><\/p>\n
