\nEffective corporate reporting and disclosure are critical in financial markets to promote vigorous competition, optimal performance, and transparency. This book examines whether existing disclosure frameworks in eight countries with the world\u2019s most significant securities exchanges achieve these objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Drawing on extensive empirical findings, Associate Professor North identifies the policies and practices that contribute most to improving the overall quality of listed company reporting and communication.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe Castan Centre for Human Rights Law, together with the United Nations Association of Australia and the Human Rights Law Centre present: \u201cHow will Australia\u2019s human rights record stack up before the UN?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAustralia will appear before the United Nations Human Rights Council to have its human rights record scrutinised by its peers as part of the Universal Periodic Review.<\/span><\/p>\n
