1. JD Elective Information and Waiting List <\/span><\/h3>\n


\nJD students interested in understanding more about the JD electives can visit the FAQ page <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n


\nIn the event that a class that you want to be enrolled into is full, you may request to be placed on the waiting list after 27 November 2015 by emailing <\/span>law-pgstudents@monash.edu<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n


\nWe will contact you should a place become available. <\/span><\/p>\n


\nPlease note that there is no guarantee that there will be a place available for those on the waiting list.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n2. Jury Skills Workshop <\/span><\/h3>\n


\nThe Victorian Bar is looking for student volunteers to participate in a Jury Skills workshop.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAs in the past, we are looking for students to act as jurors and\/or witnesses for this training course. This is a wonderful opportunity to see inside excellent advocacy and<\/span><\/p>\n

the dynamics of juries. It is an opportunity for JD students to meet barristers and watch some of them in action in a mock trial.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nNo prior work experience is required.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe Victorian Bar is running this Jury Skills workshop for Barristers on Saturday 14 November, from 8.30am-5pm at the County Court.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lunch will be provided.<\/span><\/p>\n
