Monash University Law Review Editorial Committee Applications Now Open<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Monash University Law Review is the flagship academic journal of the Monash Law School. It is highly regarded by the legal profession and across international law schools. The 2016 Editors and Faculty Advisors are accepting applications from current LLB and JD students to join the Editorial Committee for 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Committee members will be required to complete 3-4 partial edits of an article during the course of the year. The time commitment per article is approximately 10 hours. Training will be provided to all new committee members. Volunteers wanted at Monash-Oakleigh Legal Service<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Have you undertaken professional practice at MOLS or FLAP?<\/p>\n<p>If so, MOLS is currently recruiting volunteer mentors for both the Tuesday and Wednesday evening volunteer programs.<\/p>\n<p>The Tuesday evening program is a Family Law service providing advice to members of the community in relation to divorce, children and intervention orders. MOLS is seeking students who have undertaken professional practice at FLAP or volunteered for at FLAP for an extended period of time to volunteer as a mentor on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>The Wednesday evening program is a generalist service which provides advice to members of the community in relation to a range of issues including infringements, minor criminal matters, debts and neighbourhood disputes.<\/p>\n<p>MOLS is seeking students who have undertaken professional practice at MOLS to volunteer as a mentor on a Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>As a mentor in both the Wednesday and Tuesday program you will be responsible for interviewing clients, preparing file notes and working alongside other students who have limited experience in client interviews.
