Aurora Internship Program<\/h2>\n<p>The Aurora Internship Program places law, anthropology and other social science students and graduates at Native Title Representative Bodies (NTRBs), Prescribed Bodies Corporates (PBCs) and at other organisations involved in policy development, research and social justice, all working to support the broader Indigenous sector Australia-wide.<\/p>\n<p>The Program introduces candidates to career opportunities in native title and the Indigenous sector and at the same time provides assistance to under-resourced and over-worked organisations.<\/p>\n<p>The on-line application period for the Winter 2016 round of internships closes on\u00a0<strong>Friday 1 April 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications and more information about the Program can be accessed via the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.auroraproject.com.au\/aurorainternshipprogram\">Aurora website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>2. $32,000 Chinese University Hong Kong scholarship<\/h2>\n<p>Nearing the end of your degree and considering LLM\/Masters? It could take you to Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are now open for the Master of Laws Global Scholarship 2016-17 at the\u00a0Chinese University Hong Kong (CUHK) Faculty of Law.<\/p>\n<p>Positions are available for 3 students globally to study in the LLM programme in 2016-17.<\/p>\n<p>Each scholarship is worth up to HK$191,120 (approx. English Language Assistance<\/h2>\n<p>The English Connect program is Monash\u2019s new English language assistance program. It is aimed at international undergraduate and postgraduate students. English Connect is an expanded version of the Conversational English program trialled last year.<\/p>\n<p>A new website will be up soon, but at the moment, program dates and times can be found on the old website\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.monash.edu\/students\/conversational-english\/\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The free programs consist of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Let\u2019s Chat \u2013 conversation in a fun environment \u2013 1 hour each week over weeks 3-11, with over 40 sessions per week offered<\/li>\n<li>Peer Support \u2013 one on one help with academic English (written and oral), 20 minutes, no need to book. Held at John Medley Library, Mon-Thurs 10am to 2pm<\/li>\n<li>Workshops \u2013 Grammar workshops, 2 hours, register online<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Library also maintain a Building English Skills guide,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/guides.lib.monash.edu\/building-english-skills\">available here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>4. King\u2019s College London Pathway Opportunity<\/h2>\n<p>Would you like to graduate with a qualification from Monash University and King\u2019s College London?<\/p>\n<p>The Faculty of Law offers a pathway opportunity to study the Master of Laws (LLM) at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King\u2019s College London (King\u2019s) for outstanding Monash students enrolled in either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Laws (LLB); or<\/li>\n<li>Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) (JD).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If successful, you will begin your studies at King\u2019s in September\/October.
