Start next semester on track and beat procrastination with Leap into Leadership online<\/h2>\n<p>We know it\u2019s hard to manage your time while at university. Balancing study, work, volunteering and other responsibilities can be stressful. Before the start of a busy new semester, now is the perfect time to get organised and develop your skills. That\u2019s why Monash has created\u00a0<em>Time Management and Prioritisation<\/em>, a free online module for all students. You\u2019ll learn how to stay focused and avoid procrastination, create an effective to-do list and delegate to your team. It only takes about one to two hours to complete the module, and you\u2019ll receive a personalised certificate and resource pack when you finish.<\/p>\n<p><em>Time Management and Prioritisation<\/em> is just one module offered in Leap into Leadership Online: a suite of interactive modules you can complete any time, at any stage of your studies. With modules on communication, teamwork, goal-setting and more, there\u2019s plenty of topics to suit you.<\/p>\n<p>Be ready to start next semester on the right track &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/moodle.vle.monash.edu\/enrol\/index.php?id=29529\">enrol in \u201cTime Management and Prioritisation\u201d now.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/moodle.vle.monash.edu\/enrol\/index.php?id=29529\"><\/a><strong>2. English Connect: Monash University free lessons developing your English<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Drop in sessions:<\/p>\n<p>Assistance with academic English in free, one to one \u201cdrop in\u201d 20 minute sessions, no booking requires. They operate week 3-13 every semester, Monday \u2013 Friday 11am \u2013 3pm daily in Career Connect, starting Monday 8 August.<\/p>\n<p>Sessions include grammar checks, explanations and sample editing, providing grammar resources and directions for self-development. Bring in your academic work with you and talk it through. This is facilitated by Monash students.<\/p>\n<p>English speaking sessions:<\/p>\n<p>Structured but flexible fun sessions that operate weekly for one hour for 9 weeks (August \u2013 October). This is a great way to make friends, laugh and learn. The content will address common conversation situations, how to make friends and talk to local students, Australian slang and accents as well as having a party at the end of semester! Career Confident: a new boutique careers consultancy practice opens in McKinnon<\/h2>\n<p>Are you ready to graduate?
