Grants\u00a0of $3,000 are available for successful applicants.<\/p>\n<p>Piloting in 2018, ACICIS\u2019 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acicis.edu.au\/lpp-law-professional-practicum\/\">Law Professional Practicum Program<\/a> will be a six-week study program, undertaken in Jakarta, Indonesia, prior to the commencement of the Australian academic calendar year (January \u2013 February 2018).<\/p>\n<p>The program, hosted by an ACICIS Indonesian Partner University (TBC) will consist of an initial two weeks of intensive Indonesian language instruction and English language lectures by local legal practitioners and experts in the field of law, followed by a four-week supervised practicum placement with a local or international legal firm, government authority or non-government organisation (NGO).<\/p>\n<p>The program will be designed to cater for students with no existing Indonesian language skills. Jury skills workshop &#8211; seeking volunteers<\/h2>\n<p>The Victorian Bar is looking for volunteers to play the role of a witness or a juror for the Jury skills workshop.<\/p>\n<p>The Jury skills workshop is scheduled for Saturday 24 June, from 8.30am-5.00pm. Venue is the County Court, 250 William Street. Lunch will be provided.<\/p>\n<p>You will be given a copy of the materials particularly a witness statement which summarises your evidence. Scholarships to study at Tel Aviv University International<\/h2>\n<p>The Friends Association of Tel Aviv University in Victoria has established a fund to support Australian students from Victoria to\u00a0follow their dream of studying in Israel.<\/p>\n<p>This funding can be applied to cover any of Tel Aviv University&#8217;s International Programs, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/studylaw.tau.ac.il\/\">International LLM<\/a>.\u00a0The one-year (10 month) program\u00a0gives you the option of specialising in Law &amp; Technology, Global Governance and Human Rights, Business Law, or a general track.\u00a0Classes begin in early September 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Scholarship recipients are required to be from Victoria and be part of the\u00a0fellow program during and after the program.\u00a0You will join a diverse group of students in the vibrant sunny city of Tel Aviv.
