Vice-Chancellor&#8217;s Ancora Imparo Program<\/h2>\n<p>Applications are now open for the the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/students\/leadership\/ancora-imparo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vice-Chancellor&#8217;s Ancora Imparo Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The program is a unique opportunity, available only to second-year Monash University students. Participants will hear from inspiring leaders with backgrounds ranging from business, politics, sport, public service, education, health, law, and the arts.<\/p>\n<p>The Ancora Imparo Program offers a range of opportunities and activities that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>draw on and foster your sense of idealism<\/li>\n<li>increase your self-understanding<\/li>\n<li>affirm and strengthen your confidence in your existing abilities<\/li>\n<li>foster an ethic of service<\/li>\n<li>enhance your ability to effect positive social change<\/li>\n<li>provide you with an opportunity to work with other passionate and committed peers<\/li>\n<li>facilitate your learning from past and present leaders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications close\u00a0<strong>Monday 6 August. <\/strong>For more information and to apply <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/students\/leadership\/ancora-imparo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">see here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2. What are your career aspirations?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>The Non-Traditionalists are a group of Monash Law Ambassadors looking beyond stereotypical commercial law pathways. We\u2019re exploring the ways commercial law can be practised in non-traditional contexts, as well as exposing the non-traditional pathways that can be pursued with a law degree.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We\u2019ll be interviewing and creating videos of lawyers who have done just this, before ultimately creating a website to share this information.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>But before we do, we are <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/kEVZgi5wX0mSarvy1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">seeking to ascertain<\/a> the career aspirations of law students (LLB, JD and LLM). All survey responses will be gratefully received. Intercultural interaction study: your views wanted!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Culture Bridge Institute is a not-for-profit public policy think tank run by university students, for university students. Culture Bridge Institute is dedicated to researching and finding solutions in relation to cross-cultural interaction issues in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Culture Bridge Institute is conducting research on intercultural interaction issues faced by students at Monash University.
