Indigenous Law Students&#8217; Clerkship &#8211; February\/March 2019<\/h2>\n<p>The Victorian Bar is offering up to three paid clerkship positions to Indigenous law students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is involved?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The clerkship will take place on mutually agreed dates in February and March 2019, depending on university timetables.<\/p>\n<p>The clerkship involves 3 consecutive weeks with rotations as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One week at the Victorian Bar;<\/li>\n<li>One week at the Federal Court of Australia; and<\/li>\n<li>One week at the Supreme Court of Victoria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications are to be made by submitting the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vicbar.com.au\/public\/community\/diversity-inclusion\/indigenous-barristers-law-students\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">form<\/a>\u00a0under the &#8216;Indigenous Clerkship Program&#8217; section to Susan Lawrence (susan.lawrence@vicbar.com.au) or via mail to:<\/p>\n<p>Susan Lawrence<\/p>\n<p>Finance Manager<\/p>\n<p>Victorian Bar Inc.<\/p>\n<p>Level 5, 205 William St,<\/p>\n<p>Melbourne VIC 3000<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications close at 5.00pm on Friday 16 November 2018.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vicbar.com.au\/public\/community\/diversity-inclusion\/indigenous-barristers-law-students\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Learn more<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>2.
