CHASS\u00a0Australia Prizes<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nominations for the 2019 Council for the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CHASS) Australia Prizes are now open.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chass.org.au\/2019-australia-prizes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CHASS\u00a0Australia Prizes<\/a> are a\u00a0great opportunity to showcase the excellent work being done in the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences in\u00a0Australia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nominate\u00a0yourself,\u00a0your fellow students and others\u00a0in your networks in any of the four prize categories:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li><strong>Student<\/strong>: an\u00a0essay,\u00a0research or creative\u00a0project\u00a0in any Humanities, Arts or Social Sciences area\u00a0\u2013\u00a0cash prize of\u00a0$500\u00a0sponsored by\u00a0CHASS<\/li>\n<li><strong>Future Leader<\/strong>:\u00a0an individual under 30\u00a0demonstrating leadership skills and potential in the Humanities\/Arts\/Social Sciences\u00a0&#8211; cash prize of $2,000 sponsored by Future Leaders<\/li>\n<li><strong>Distinctive Work<\/strong>: an artistic performance, exhibition, film, television show, play, composition, creative or research project,\u00a0or practical contribution to\u00a0HASS\u00a0policy &#8211; cash prize of $3,500 sponsored by Routledge<\/li>\n<li><strong>Book<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0non-fiction &#8211; cash prize of $3,500 sponsored by Routledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nominations are open from anyone regardless of their years of training\/study in the field, as long as the nominated\u00a0work\u00a0fits within the specified criteria.\u00a0Please note there is no nomination fee for any category\u00a0and self-nominations are welcome.\u00a0The application process is very simple and can easily be completed\u00a0online <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chass.org.au\/2019-australia-prizes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Terms and conditions apply, please refer to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chass.org.au\/2019-australia-prizes\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.chass.org.au\/2019-australia-prizes\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1559344751107000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHW48DuaXBb36eXY8858Ki1okJm3w\">website<\/a>\u00a0for more\u00a0details.<strong> N<\/strong><b>ominations close at 5.00pm\u00a0<\/b><b>AEST\u00a0on\u00a021\u00a0June<\/b><\/p>\n<h2><b>2.
