Research and learning advice at your library

Are you aware that research and learning advice is available at the library branches?

You are welcome to drop-in to discuss an assignment or project or seek advice without an appointment. Learning skills advisers and librarians who are experienced in working with students and work closely with academic staff in the faculties are available at advertised times.

Questions answered recently include:
“I’m having trouble understanding what they want me to do.”
“How much do I have to read for this assignment?”
“How can I improve my time management?”
“I am worried I don’t know how to write an essay properly”
“The Library search boxes don’t seem to work for me. What can I do?”
“My supervisor has suggested I might need to complement my reading for my topic with other material. Where do I look?”

Ask us your question and we will do our best to advise you.  Bring the required task and/or the course guide for the unit with you.  You may come in a group or on your own.

You will find a drop-in session at your branch library from Week Two.
