Improve your listening and speaking with Essential Academic Skills in English (EASE)

Improve your academic listening and speaking skills with these  Essential Academic Skills in English (EASE) interactive programs.

Using your headset, you can watch video clips and do interactive exercises at your own pace.  The program provides feedback, tips and suggestions.

To access these programs you will first  need to log in with your Authcate password.

Quick study guides – self-help for exams, essays

The Library’s  Quick Study Guides provide tips for tackling common academic tasks.  

These self-help guides deal with settling in to university, dealing with examinations, tackling assignments, making presentations and many other topics.  For example, the lecturer may request greater participation in tutorials.  Or you may need to know more about proof-reading your assignment effectively.

The interactive tutorial, Demystifying citing and referencing and the related Citing and referencing library guide have been developed to assist with understanding when and how to cite sources.
