{"id":1554,"date":"2013-06-04T14:35:26","date_gmt":"2013-06-04T03:35:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test-blogs-monash-edu.pantheonsite.io\/rural-health\/?p=1554"},"modified":"2013-06-04T14:35:26","modified_gmt":"2013-06-04T03:35:26","slug":"former-student-returns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.monash.edu\/rural-health\/2013\/06\/04\/former-student-returns\/","title":{"rendered":"Former student marries, returns to West Gippsland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former student and soon-to-be sessional staff member at Warragul, Cara Malzinskas, has settled back in the area and was married recently.<\/p>\n<p>Now Dr Baillie, Cara completed Year 3 with the Gippsland Regional Clinical School in 2006 and came back to West Gippsland Healthcare last year to undertake a paediatric rotation.<\/p>\n<p>It has been a busy year already for Cara, who is currently based at Royal Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>As well as marrying Chris Baillie, she is studying for her Paediatric clinical exam after passing the written in February this year.<\/p>\n<p>The year is about to get busier still, with Cara to join the Clinical School in Warragul as a sessional staff member in Semester 2.<\/p>\n<p>Cara and Chris have settled in Lang Lang, a small town between West Gippsland and Westernport Bay.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1555\" style=\"width: 440px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1555\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1555\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.monash.edu\/rural-health\/files\/2013\/06\/Cara-wedding-IMG_0254.jpg\" alt=\"Cara and Chris Baillie on their wedding day.\" width=\"430\" height=\"632\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1555\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cara and Chris Baillie on their wedding day.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former student and soon-to-be sessional staff member at Warragul, Cara Malzinskas, has settled back in the area and was married recently.
