{"id":1615,"date":"2013-07-02T11:21:16","date_gmt":"2013-07-02T00:21:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test-blogs-monash-edu.pantheonsite.io\/rural-health\/?p=1615"},"modified":"2013-07-02T11:21:16","modified_gmt":"2013-07-02T00:21:16","slug":"leigh-helps-canadians-get-lean","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.monash.edu\/rural-health\/2013\/07\/02\/leigh-helps-canadians-get-lean\/","title":{"rendered":"Leigh helps Canadians get Lean"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Associate Professor Leigh Kinsman has travelled to Canada to work on an evaluation project of Saskatchewan\u2019s health care transformation using the Lean Management System.<\/p>\n<p>Leigh will work with Dr Thomas Rotter from the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, University of Saskatchewan, and meet with a research team from the University of Western Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>The group is looking to adapt the Lean Management System to the health industry to reduce health-care costs, maximize efficiencies and improve patient oriented experiences.
