{"id":262,"date":"2012-07-09T10:44:31","date_gmt":"2012-07-08T23:44:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test-blogs-monash-edu.pantheonsite.io\/rural-health\/?p=262"},"modified":"2012-07-09T10:44:31","modified_gmt":"2012-07-08T23:44:31","slug":"anz-educators-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.monash.edu\/rural-health\/2012\/07\/09\/anz-educators-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Gippsland academics present to health educators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gippsland Regional Clinical School Deputy Director, Dr Cathy Haigh, travelled to New Zealand in June to present at the <a title=\"Opens the conference web page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.anzahpe2012.co.nz\/2012\">ANZAHPE (Australia and New Zealand Association for Health Professional Educators) annual conference<\/a> in Rotorua.<\/p>\n<p>This year is the 40th conference of the organisation which aims to promote, support and advance education in the health professions while also facilitating communication between educators.<\/p>\n<p>Cathy presented on the topic \u2018Learning in the Clinical Workplace: A Qualitative Analysis of Reflections of Final Year Medical Students\u2019 as part of the Learning in the Workplace session and also presented an e-poster, which described the simulated disaster multi-agency training opportunity afforded to Year 4C students in Gippsland recently.<\/p>\n<p>Associate Professor William Hart from Gippsland Medical School was another School of Rural Health representative at the conference, presenting on two topics.
