Some email systems will even block attachments smaller than that, so how do you send someone a really big file?<\/p>\n<p>There is an answer.<\/p>\n<p>Monash staff have access to a file transfer system called <a title=\"Opens the Cloudstor homepage\" href=\"https:\/\/cloudstor.aarnet.edu.au\/filesender\/\">Cloudstor<\/a> which allows you to send files up to 1.95GB.<\/p>\n<p>The steps to use the system are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to the link above<\/li>\n<li>Click Logon<\/li>\n<li>Choose Monash University from the list of institutions<\/li>\n<li>Log in with your authcate<\/li>\n<li>Enter the email address of the person you want to send the files to, upload your files and hit send.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The recipient receives an email from Cloudstor with a link to download the file which is active for 20 days.<\/p>\n<p>Help is available on the <a title=\"Opens help documentation on the Cloudstor website\" href=\"https:\/\/cloudstor.aarnet.edu.au\/filesender\/help.php\">Cloudstor website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Files of more than about 10MB are too big to send via email.
