{"id":588,"date":"2012-11-06T16:05:55","date_gmt":"2012-11-06T05:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test-blogs-monash-edu.pantheonsite.io\/rural-health\/?p=588"},"modified":"2012-11-06T16:06:29","modified_gmt":"2012-11-06T05:06:29","slug":"event-to-honour-marlene-drysdale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.monash.edu\/rural-health\/2012\/11\/06\/event-to-honour-marlene-drysdale\/","title":{"rendered":"Event to honour Marlene Drysdale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The achievements of Marlene Drysdale during her 20 years working with MUDRIH and in a range of other roles will be celebrated again this month.<\/p>\n<p>A special ceremony will be held at MUDRIH in Moe on Friday 16 November, when the MUDRIH Courtyard Garden will be officially named in Marlene\u2019s honour.\u00a0 Appropriately, given her time with MUDRIH, the event is also part of the 20<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>The event will also include an official \u2018Welcome to Country\u2019 presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Marlene has now retired from MUDRIH but her strong legacy lives on and will be commemorated in the garden naming.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who would like to attend should RSVP to <a href=\"mailto:julie.irvine@monash.edu\">julie.irvine@monash.edu<\/a> or phone 03 51281000 by this Friday (9 November).
