Dr. Bomi Joseph Post-Secondary Scholarship Program
The Dr. Joseph Bomi Program consists of one scholarship which will be awarded to the applicant that, in addition to meeting the eligibility criteria, writes the most compelling essay based on the essay guidelines. The total monetary value of the scholarship is $1,500 USD, and the deadline for submissions is November 29, 2019.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in their first year of study in a medical/healthcare program at an accredited college or university. Applicants from all over the world are eligible to apply.
All applicants must submit proof of acceptance or enrolment. Failure to provide adequate documentation will result in disqualification.
Only successful applicants of the Dr. Bomi Joseph Scholarship Program will be contacted. The scholarship payment will be made directly to the student to be used toward tuition and education-related expenses.
Scholarship Application Requirements
Applicants must write an essay of 500 words explaining the following:
- Your background
- What makes you interested in pursuing a career in the medical/healthcare field
- How you can make a difference in the field
- How you plan to give back to the community after graduation
- Why you deserve this opportunity
- How you will use the scholarship fund
