Australia’s Biggest Morning TeaBiggest-Morning-Tea

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a great opportunity for colleagues to get together to share a cuppa and some healthy and delicious food, while raising funds for those affected by cancer. Every dollar raised helps to fund more cancer research, prevention programs and support services.

In 2015, supporters helped raise a staggering $13.6 million. We’d love to top this incredible total in 2016!

Get involved this year and do your part by organising a morning tea in your work area. While the official day for the morning tea is Thursday 26th May, events can be held throughout May and June.

To host a morning tea, simply register your morning tea online.  For more information and for some great ideas on how to fundraiser, go to Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Men’s Health Week- What every man needs to know about their healthmen's health week 2016

Men’s Health Week (13-19 June 2016) is a time to promote good health and wellbeing. Men generally find personal issues difficult to talk about, especially when it comes to reproductive health concerns such as erectile problems or trouble with their waterworks. It’s important for men to know that if something is not quite right, or not working the way it should, they need to talk to a doctor.

Dr Geoff Broomhall representing Andrology Australia will be presenting a men’s health talk for Monash staff.  The talk will include a discussion around common male health issues affecting males at different ages, symptoms, and how to approach your doctor to discuss your worries. Particular emphasis will be on some areas of confusion regarding prostate disease, both benign and malignant, preventative health care and the role of Andrology in male health.

Seminars will be held on the Clayton campus on the 14th of June, and at Caulfield on the 15th.
