Find your buddy today on the <a href=\"https:\/\/my.monash.edu.au\/community\/sports\/fitness-connect\/\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">my.monash.portal<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Monash staff and students walk the talk at Oxfam Trailwalker<\/h3>\n<div>More than 746 teams walked 100km within 48 hours\u00a0from Wheelers Hill\u00a0through the beautiful Dandenong Ranges National Park\u00a0to Wesburn for the Oxfam Trailwalker.<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1164\" src=\"https:\/\/edit.blogs-monash-edu.salsa.hosting\/timeout-newsletter\/files\/2012\/04\/oxfam1.JPG\" alt=\"oxfam1\" width=\"288\" height=\"216\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Oxfam Trailwalker is not just a gruelling physical challenge, each team has committed to raising funds to support people living in poverty around the world. More than $2,355,342 was raised by all teams for Oxfam.<\/p>\n<p>Two teams from the School of Nursing and Midwifery (Peninsula, Clayton and Berwick) competed in the Challenge.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Monash University Plodders team included Helen Hall, Kelli Innes, Wendy Radcliffe and David Ruebhart, with\u00a0 support crew\u00a0\u00a0Julia Morphet, Susan Lee and Jill French.
