Mosaic Festival – A Celebration of Multicultural Women in Victoria
Join VIRCWC (Victorian Immigrant and Refugee Women’s Coalition) for a Mosaic Festival of live music, dance, cultural costumes, international cuisine and arts and crafts from around the world. This celebration of our women’s multicultural diversity is free and is a great opportunity to foster cross-cultural exchanges in the community.

When: Sunday 22 October, 10am -4pm
Where: Queen Victoria Market

SMART: Exambusters
These lunchtime workshop will give you some practical skills to manage pre-exam nerves so you can stay focused during the exam time. Learn how to set realistic goals, improve your time management for study and manage your stress.

When: Wednesday 4 October, 12 – 1pm
Where: Library Teaching Room 2, Caulfield (Register)

Globe Cafe
Globe Cafe has so many events to look out for in October. Contact Jacob (Jacob.legardo@monash.edu) for more information or ring 0435 907 441. All events are located at St John’s Parish Hall (5 Finch Street, Malvern East) only a 2 minute walk from Monash Uni, Caulfield campus.

To the Skies
Join in the Annual Globe Café International Paper Plane Flying Competition! There will be prizes for the longest airtime, longest distance and best aerobatics. The official world record distance holder is Stephen Krieger with 63.19 metres. Let’s see if you can do better!

Bollywood Break-up
The semester is nearly over and it’s time to relax and celebrate. Join the party for an end-of-year feast with some fun thrown in! The theme is Bollywood so dress-up and get ready to dance, dance, dance! Prizes for the best costumes.
