Melbourne student AFL experience at the MCG
On August 13, International students across Melbourne joined fellow Melburnians for a cultural Australian Football experience as Melbourne played against St Kilda at the MCG. Devang Bhatt, a student from Monash volunteered at the event and shares his experience below:
“I enjoyed the adrenaline rush in the game, on and off the field. The stand where I was sitting was filled with students and the joy and enthusiasm was overwhelming. For every goal scored flags were waved by the students. There was dancing and cheering at every moment of the game. It was one of the rare, unique, most memorable experiences of my life“.
