Paid summer 2015/16 internships with Macquarie Group
Stepping Into is a paid internship program designed specifically for university students with disability, who want to gain some paid hands-on work experience in their chosen field of study. The Australian Network on Disability (AND), work with their members to identify and provide opportunities for university students with disability to “step into” the workplace to gain exposure to their potential career field and get involved in projects and work alongside experienced professionals.
Macquarie’s summer internship program gives students in their penultimate year of study the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience. Working alongside leading industry professionals you will receive structured induction, on-the-job training and networking opportunities. The program runs for 10 to 12 weeks over the summer period. A summer internship offers you valuable work experience and can set you up for a successful career once you complete your studies.

Banking and Financial Services Group
Business Banking
These positions are open to students studying Business, Commerce, Accounting and Economics. Experience in a customer service role is not essential, but would be highly regarded.
Investment Banking
These positions are open to students studying Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Law, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics and Sciences.
Corporate and Asset Finance Group –
Express Lending
These positions are open to students studying Business/Commerce, Accounting and Finance. Customer service experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
