Stepping Into 2016: Applications are Open!
It is with great anticipation that we invite you to participate in our upcoming winter internship program. Stepping Into™ is a paid internship program designed specifically for university students with disability.
Students benefit significantly through gaining experience of the job application and interview process, developing a network of contacts within a professional organisation, and gaining valuable paid work experience which they can include on their resumes, and having the opportunity to showcase their skills and knowledge.
Internships are for a minimum 152 hours duration (unless otherwise specified). These hours can be completed either full time (four weeks) or part-time (varies) as negotiated with the employer. Key dates for the Winter program 2016:
March-May 2016: Applications open (check individual closing dates for each position)
May 2016: Shortlisting
June 2016: Interviews
Late June/Early July 2016: Internships commence (in alignment with university break)
