Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a great opportunity for colleagues to get together to share a cuppa and some healthy and delicious food, while raising funds for those affected by cancer. Every dollar raised helps to fund more cancer research, prevention programs and support services.

In 2017, supporters helped raise a staggering $11.9 million. We’d love to top this incredible total in 2018 to over $13 million!

Get involved this year and do your part by organising a morning tea in your work area. While the official day for the morning tea is Thursday 24th May, events can be held throughout May and June.

To host a morning tea, simply register your morning tea online.  For more information and for some great ideas on how to fundraiser, go to Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Mindfulness for Stress and Mental Health- Parkville campus

Mindfulness can be described as a form of meditation but also a way of living and working. One of the main reasons for the rise of interest in mindfulness in this fast-paced, high-pressure modern world is because of its ability to help people to manage stress and enhance mental and emotional wellbeing. This interactive and experiential presentation will explore how mindfulness meditation and a series of simple cognitive strategies based on mindfulness can help reduce stress and foster greater resilience and better mental health.

  • Date: Tuesday 8th of May
  • Time:12:00-1:00
