Flu vaccinations 2018
Flu season is upon us! Commonly known as ‘the flu’, influenza is a highly contagious disease that can be serious, debilitating and affect the whole body.
This year’s quadrivalent vaccine provides protection from 4 strains of influenza virus (2 strains of Influenza A and 2 strains of Influenza B) and is now available to Monash staff at several campus locations.
Bookings are easy to make via the Health Watch online booking system. Look out for booking instructions from your area coordinator.
Staff must bring with them their booking confirmation email to show the nurse when they arrive at their appointment, as this will be proof of their booking. This is an important and popular program and bookings are essential.
