First Enterprise Agreement settled in Round 4
The university has recently settled its first Enterprise Agreement as part of the Round 4 enterprise bargaining negotiations. The settlement was reached with a number of unions that represent trades and services (building, metal trades, grounds and gardening) staff principally employed at the Clayton and Gippsland campuses.
The basis of the Agreement was:
- a salary increase;
- ‘rolling over’ of the vast majority of clauses in the existing agreement; and
- fine tuning of some existing provisions.
The Agreement is currently being completed and will be made available to staff as soon as possible.
