Volunteer Opportunity
We are seeking expression of interest from international students who will be in Singapore or Malaysia in June who would like to volunteer at the Monash Pre-departure briefing.

Volunteers would be required to:
• Meet and greet new students and parents
• Assist at the registration desk
• Share your Monash journey from a student perspective in front of a large audience

This is a great opportunity to connect with others, gain public speaking experience and help support new students coming to Monash. Volunteers will receive a certificate of appreciation.

Singapore: Wednesday 15 June 2016, 7:30pm – 9:30pm – RELC Hotel
Malaysia: Saturday 18 June 2016, 1:00pm – 3:30pm – Monash University

Missed out on Host Scheme Summer Camp? Want to make new friends or go on a camp with your current friends? Host Scheme camp is open to students from all campuses and includes 2 nights of dormitory accommodation, private beach access, transport to and from Monash University Clayton, food and activities.

Appointments are free and available on Caulfield and Clayton Campus. Bookings are essential.

Exam Cheating!
If you have in your pocket study notes or mobile phone, you may be accused of cheating in an exam. You may face the following penalties:

  • 0% for assessment or unit
  • Suspension from Monash
  • Exclusion from Monash

Unfortunately, we meet many students at exam cheat Interviews who would have been eligible to apply for Special Consideration. For more information, contact a Student Rights Officer.

The Olympics are coming up soon! Do you know of a Monash person competing at the Olympics? Or is someone you know competing at the Olympics? Team MONASH will be broadcasting our athletes on campus during the Olympics. Let us know if you want to see specific athletes on the big screen! Tandem Language Exchange
This language exchange program is for students at the city campus to learn and practice foreign languages. They are looking Japanese students who may like to share their culture and practice their English skills. For more information, contact niza.groell@monash.edu

Our Monash security videos offer some advice and tips to stay safe. You can view the videos in other languages: Arabic, Cantonese, Indonesian, Mandarin, Sinhalese and Tamil.

It is a flexible space for you to relax, study for exams or hold a club meeting. You can book the lounge via email to servicedesk@monsucaulfield.org.au. Bookings need to be made 7 days in advance.

PLACEEmployability Conference (PLACE) – Clayton Campus
The Program for Leadership and Careers Engagement (PLACE) is a one-day event hosted by Monash University International Students Services (MUISS) to enhance the employability skills of students. Come and learn from guest speakers, workshops and a discussion panel how to construct your resume, perfect your CV, refine your interview skills and network with industry professionals!
