If you recently commenced your candidature at Monash University, come to an International Student: Essential Information session and learn all you need to know as a new international graduate research student to help with your transition to study at Monash University and living in Melbourne.

MPA seminar2MPA Excellence Seminar Series
Get some insight into the ideas, motivations and stories of inspirational figures in Australia. The next session features Yassmin Abdel-Magied, a mechanical engineer, writer and activist from Sudan. At age 16 Yassmin founded Youth Without Borders. At 24, she released her first book. Yassmin is a sought after adviser for federal governments and international bodies. Check out Yassmin’s TED talk.

Family Cup Day FAmily 2013
You and your family are invited to the annual Family Cup Day lunch (halal and vegetarian options provided). Meet other Monash families and join in the fun of face painting, petting zoo, and various group activities for kids and adults! Numbers are limited, register online by Tuesday 25 October.
