Welcome to a new section of the International newsletter for students with partners, families or who are planning to start a family. 

Pregnancy information session for international students
If you are pregnant or planning to start a family in Melbourne, you’ll need to find out how to prepare for pregnancy and the different services available that can assist you with your transition into parenthood. Register here.

Where: The Seminar Room, Campus Community Division, Level 1, Campus Centre, Clayton campus

Postgrad Parent Club
Meet other Mums and Dads while your kids play, all while enjoying a free coffee! Contact Rhian Adlam to register.
When: Clayton – every second Thursday, 2:00pm at Saporo Cafe New Horizons
Caulfield – every second Thursday, 10:00am at Monsu Cafe

Parenting rooms on campus
Did you know all of our campuses have special facilities for feeding, breastfeeding, expressing milk, baby changing and soothing? More info here.

Meet with other first time parents
Monash Council organises parent groups which enable first time parents to meet in a supportive environment and learn valuable information. Groups are facilitated by qualified Maternal and Child Health Nurses who are there to answer any questions you have. Find out more.

What’s On for families

Pirate Sundays at Polly Woodside
Do you think you would had been a clever pirate? Join Pirate Sundays on the first Sunday of each month for a fun treasure hunt experience and discover what life was like on a tall ship sailing the seven seas.  Children and visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, games, arts and crafts.
When: Sunday is 3 June
Where: 21 South Wharf Promenade, South Wharf, 10am – 4pm
