Campus life

R U OK? Day

R U OK? Day is a national day of action and a reminder to regularly check in with family, friends and workmates to make sure they’re OK. Staying connected and having meaningful conversations is something we can all do. Monash will be holding events at all campuses on the day.
When: Thursday September 13

Support for postgrads at AMREP
The MPA’s advocate Sunshine will be stationed at Clinic Room 3 (G10) at the Alfred Medical Research and Education Precinct on the third Tuesday of every Month from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Sunshine can help you with any issues or questions related to your postgraduate studies at Monash!

A guide to research data management
Do you often find yourself frantically searching for files you downloaded weeks ago, or have you ever lost them all together? Situations like this can be very stressful, especially as your deadlines get closer. Fortunately, you can easily avoid them by putting together a data management plan. Check out the Library blog to access Monash’s brand new guide to research data management.

The Study Melbourne Student Centre is moving!
The Study Melbourne Student Centre will be moving to a new location at 17 Hardware Lane, Melbourne CBD from Monday September 17. Doors will be closed on Friday September 14 and Monday September while we move in, but phone support will still be available to students. Normal activities will resume from Tuesday September 18.

The winning proposal will be awarded $5,000 and will see their idea implemented across all Monash Australian campuses. Competition entries close Friday September 14 so make sure you get your idea in quick!
