2. Library Tours for New JD Students

The Law Library will be holding Library tours:
Date: Friday 3 September, 2010
Time: 10:45 am and 2 pm

These tours will last approximately 30 minutes and will help you to locate essential resources for your assignments and inform you about Library services and facilities.  No bookings are required.  Come to the Law Library, level 1 and wait at the electronic noticeboard near the Loans Desk.

How do I improve my understanding and keep focused when I’m reading?
What critical reading skills do I need to develop in order to help me question and evaluate my reading, and improve my analytical writing practice?
How do I choose key ideas to create useful paraphrases and summaries?
How do I become an effective self-critical reader?
