2. Legal Sector Internship Program

Victoria Law Foundation

The legal sector internship program is an exciting opportunity for law students to gain exposure to the broader legal sector, particularly in legal policy and related areas.

The internship takes place over 20 days either during university holidays or during the semester.

Students are placed with organisations that range from government departments and the courts to advocacy groups and community legal centres.

To apply you must be a current law student at a Victorian university undertaking either an undergraduate law degree or a juris doctorate.

In the application package, you will find information about the internship program and application guidelines.

Applications are now open for placements in two seasons: summer 2011/12 and winter 2012.

3. Presenting as a Professional

Learn how to impress employers face-to-face. Presenting as a professional is a 1-day program supporting students and recent graduates in their preparation for professional employment. There are only 90 places available.

4. Professional Transitions – Law Program

In semester 2, attend a new career development program designed exclusively for Law students. It is a certificated program focusing on job applications, interview and career management. This program is specifically targeted to assist you in applying into the legal profession within Victoria with speakers from graduate recruiters from top tier firms, paralegal recruitment agencies and legal professional associations.
