2. Learning Skills Seminars at Clayton Semester 2

Trish Hughes, the Learning Skills Adviser, is running Learning skills drop-in sessions and classes again for Semester 2 .  No bookings are required for the drop-in sessions and students just need to come to the Research and Learning desk in the Law Library on Wednesday and Friday 12-2pm, Week 1 – 13, at the Law Library, Clayton .

The classes are on  Mondays in 3rd Floor Meeting Room, Law Library, Clayton.  The first four sessions are mainly intended for students who are new to law, so the focus is on managing the reading and on taking notes as preparation for lectures and for exam summaries. The seminars have a more academic focus, with emphasis on developing a coherent and well organised argument especially in relation to semester assignments, and on writing clearly and concisely.
