1. New Unit in 2012

Monash is proud to offer ‘Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and International Law’, taught by the eminent Professor Oliver De Schutter.

This course provides an overview of economic, social and cultural (ESC) rights, both in international human rights law and in a comparative law.

Prof. dr. Olivier De Schutter is the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to food. He is professor at the University of Louvain (Belgium) and at the College of Europe (Natolin), and a visiting professor at Columbia University and Sciences Po (Paris).
